Pecha Kucha Night and Third Thursday on August 21st @ Atwater Block Brewery
Meet us at the Atwater Brewery for an exciting DSG evening. (237 Jos Campau, MAP). We’ll start with our traditional Community Connect at 6:30 pm where we connect with other Detroit Synergy people in an informal, social setting, and then we’ll experience our first Pecha Kucha night at 8:20 pm. Our community partner for August is Arts & Scraps, a Detroit-based non-profit who provides children with affordable learning and creative experiences using recycled industrial scraps.
How can you support their efforts? A little home recycling. We’re looking for:

Pecha Kucha (which is Japanese for the sound of conversation) has tapped into a demand for a forum in which creative work can be easily and informally shown, without having to rent a gallery or chat up a magazine editor. This is a demand that seems to be global – as Pecha Kucha Night, without any pushing, has spread virally to over 120 cities across the world. Find a location and join the conversation.
