DSG Community Outreach Tour '08 @ Jazzin' on Jefferson and City Fest
Shifts are only two hours, but we will welcome anyone who wants to work multiple shifts! The task is simple...talk about Detroit Synergy, who we are, what we do, and how people can get invovled. Third Annual Jazzin' on Jefferson Bike Tour
See the Far East Side with a 4 hour bike ride to many of the areas local destinations including, the Conner Creek Greenway, Chandler Park, East English Village, Sander's Ice Cream (40 minute stop) the Grosse Pointe's, the Lake Shore district, and the Venetian Canals of Detroit. Our Event will start and end at the Jazzin on Jefferson Festival and celebrate city cycling. Another Saturday afternoon with Detroit Bikes! Click Here for details.

Pecha Kucha Night Comes to Detroit: Call for Entries

General Meeting at Rivard Plaza on the Riverwalk
General meetings provide the opportunity to find out about new projects, discover a new Detroit organization, and how to get involved with Detroit Synergy. Come for the view, stay for the meeting! The Rivard Plaza is located just east of GM Renaissance Center and is one of the highlights of the Detroit Riverwalk. The new RiverWalk Café will be open to purchase refreshments.

Third Thursday: Community Connect on Thursday, July 17th
Third Thursdays are a great opportunity to connect with members of the Detroit Synergy community. Whether you are new to the organization, or well-traveled on the Synergy circuit, you will feel welcome at this community networking event.
Ever wonder how projects get started? Have an idea you'd like to share? Come at 6:00 for an informal Project Clinic.

Synergy Shares at the Salvation Army
Join DSG Shares at the Salvation Army. The Salvation Army provides a number of services to the community; more than 30 million people a year are aided in some form by these services. Volunteers will meet downtown at at the Southeast Michigan Rehabilitation Center and will participate in activities including kitchen clean-up, field clean-up and meal preparation.

So you've been hanging out with us for a little while now. You've worked on and participated in a project or two...or more. On-going! Bus to Work Campaign: A Transit Project
We're working this May to help strengthen mass transit in metro Detroit. Is there a bus stop near where you work? Sign-up to post an educational flier at your workplace that describes the local routes and the personal cost savings. On-going! Discussing Differences
Discussing Differences is a collaboration between Detroit Synergy and The Michigan Roundtable for Diversity and Inclusion (MRDI) to help Metro Detroiters break down racial and social barriers by using MRDI’s 'Trading Places' dialogue series. We gather 20 volunteers to meet for 3, 3-hour sessions, to discuss these, and other, topics. We will be holding sessions again very soon, so if you are interested, please let us know!
