Join us on February 6 at Gleaners!

DSG Shares provides an opportunity for individuals to volunteer in a service learning event once per month designed to address a specific social issue plaguing our community - hunger and homelessness. Each service learning event engages volunteers in community impact with a Detroit-area organization while educating them on the realities of hunger and homelessness in our community.

Join DSG Shares at Gleaners Community Food Bank on Saturday, February 6 from 1-4 p.m.

As the third oldest food bank in the United States, Gleaners Community Food Bank's mission has been to turn surplus food, which otherwise would go to waste, into millions of delicious meals for hungry people in Southeastern Michigan.

Volunteers will be assisting with food sorting and packaging. Adult volunteers and youth ages 8 and up are welcome to attend. However, please contact Regina before-hand notifying her the age of your child so that we can prepare accordingly.
