DSG Shares provides an opportunity for volunteers to engage in a service learning event once per month designed to address a specific social issue plaguing our community - hunger and homelessness. Each service learning event engages volunteers in community impact with a Detroit-area organization while educating them on the realities of hunger and homelessness in our community.

DSG Shares at Gleaners Community Food Bank - March 15 from 1-4 p.m.
Join DSG Shares at Gleaners Community Food Bank on Saturday, March 15 from 1-4 p.m. As the third-oldest food bank in the United States, Gleaners Community Food Bank's mission has been to turn surplus food, which otherwise would go to waste, into millions of delicious meals for hungry people in southeastern Michigan. Gleaners is located at 2131 Beaufait in Detroit (between Vernor and Kercheval, two blocks east of Mt. Elliot).
